Hi,
I'm Lisa and my SO and I are the happy parents of 7 1/2 month old Louie, a chihuahua-whippet mix. Louie loves people and dogs and is very much the comedian, but he wants to please. We think he has some separation anxiety issues and does submissive/excited peeing. Our housebreaking has been a bit of a challenge as we have changed plans and schedules. At first, we both worked outside the home with SO coming home at noon for lunch and a potty break. I often work very long hours. Now SO is working from home (after being gone on a trip) and I am on summer break. Also, we went from planning on getting a doggy door and leaving our screen door open in the interim with pee pads on the patio to deciding on not getting one. We are still using pee pads on the patio and taking him out for walks. So with all the changes in plans and schedules I guess a set back is to be expected. Louie |

Little Louie sounds like a cutie!
![]() It can definitely be challenging for both the humans and the dog when there are a lot of changes in schedule and in training methods. With any luck at all, we'll be able to help you get the job done. Hang in there!
